Engineering Project: my Tiny House By caroline Grable ‘25
Overview
Our design of a tiny house is for a couple who both works full-time and loves functional and organizational items and playing pool or video games together in their free time. Thus, they both need workspaces and a relaxing space for fun. Their tiny house is on a sloped grass field on a mountain outside Schenectady, NY. This house gives them an area to escape from their daily routine and the busy city. By incorporating features like a slightly sloped rooftop for rainwater harvesting and a fully windowed side for daylight and a good view, the design not only optimizes fosters a deep connection with the outdoors.
